Caloocan Philippines Accor Hotel
The 14 new properties include six brands that will debut in the Philippines, including Caloocan's flagship CalocoCor brand and a number of other brands. The serviced apartment concept combines social spaces and modern restaurants with a mix of modern amenities such as private balconies and private dining rooms. In Manila, the company announced earlier this year the opening of the first of its new hotels in Manila, the Malacanang Hotel, a 1,500 square meter luxury apartment complex.
Accor is also expanding its portfolio in the Philippines with a record number of new hotels signed this year, managed by the international Augmented Hospitality group. Each of these hotels will provide an additional 2,155 rooms, extending the Group's total pipeline to 14 hotels in Manila, the Bay of Manila and Manila International Airport, as well as a number of other locations.
The accelerated expansion plan will increase the presence of the leading hotel operator in the country to eight hotels with 2,127 rooms from the current 1,743 rooms.
Accor is in a rapid expansion phase and we are pleased to be able to present our hotel owners with even more of the Philippines, with a wider choice of accommodation that makes as much sense to them as it does to us, "said Jean-Pierre Langdon, President and Chief Operating Officer of Accor Philippines. "We are diversifying our brand offering by adding new hotels and extensions - stay hotels in Manila, Manila Bay, Davao City and other cities across the country and in other countries," he said.
